Why Dottie PAWS?

Dottie PAWS is inspired by Dottie, our clever, sensitive poodle cross. Living with her changed the way we had to think about walks, behaviour and care - and it’s the heart behind everything we do.

Not every dog enjoys group walks or busy, high energy environments. Some dogs:

feel overwhelmed around other dogs
need quieter routes
prefer a predictable routine
enjoy slower, sniffy walks
thrive on gentle mental stimulation rather than high-energy outings

And that’s okay - dottie PAWS exists for Dottie and dogs like her.

All walks and visits are strictly one-to-one. Your dog is never walked in a group and never rushed to fit around others. Our walks are tailored to your dogs confidence level, movement needs and comfort.

I'm fully insured, DBS checked, trained in first aid and behaviour awareness and experienced in supporting dogs who need that extra bit of care and understanding.

I work calmly, gently and with close attention to body language, always aware when a dog tells me they need more space.
